Introduction

Have you ever been in a Marshmallow challenge before? Well I’m going to be telling you a story about the marshmallow challenge.

Today my classroom did the marshmallow challenge with our friends and my team won. So about that my team made the tallest marshmallow tower out of everybody in my classroom that was competing with us.

The thing that we needed were 25 spaghetti sticks, 1 marshmallow, String and tape. So the first thing we did was we grab the marshmallow and put it in the middle of the table. Then my team put the spaghetti stick around the marshmallow.

After that we stand it up and then it stayed still. But it wasn’t tall enough.

So we took off the marshmallow off the top and then there was a spot of gooey marshmallow so we put more spaghetti sticks in the middle of it. Then we tape the bottom and then we taped the middle spot where the gooey marshmallow is.

Then after that Miss Parrant told everyone to come down to the mat. Then we talk about who won and who made the tallest tower. The people that won were my group.

Conclusion

I felt happy and scared because when I was scared I thought that my team was going to lose but we actually won. Then on the happy part I was happy because we won.

Introduction

Have you ever played a game called who am I ? Well I have and I am going to be telling you a story about it.

On The 23rd of October, Room 8 literacy played a game called who am I which is part of our topic on Te Wa Toi. But before we start Miss Parrant showed us the instructions.

Paragraph 1

First thing we did is went into groups of Two or Three. Then Miss Parrant gave us a piece of paper that had a category on it, for like an example my group had a Celebrity name. After that we went to go and find a quiet place to work.

Paragraph 2

As we found a quiet place to work, my group played the game for 10 minutes called who am I. How to play the game, each of my team players was given a category to play with. Two of my team players would try and act out that category while the other team player had to answer the category.

After that Miss Parrant called everyone to come back to the mat. Next Miss Parrant called up 2 people and was given a category to play with. After that was finished everyone had to pack up and get ready for the news.

Conclusion

It was fun and cool because I like to solve things and playing games like who am I and different games as well.

On Monday October the 5th 2018 Point England started term 4. This term our topic is Te Wa Toi that means time for art.

This term there is lots of things happening at school. There is art, film festival, camp and lots of other things. I am most excited for camp.

This term my goals are getting better at reading and writing and not playing games. To achieve these goals I want to make sure I finish all of my work.

This term I wanting to do lots of learning. I’m hoping to do more arts and crafts this term and finishing off my reading and writing this term to.

There is lots of things on this term I am so excited for camp. I hope to achieve all of my goals and do lots of learning this term.

So one day he decided he can’t handle anymore he decided that these people were rotten like a core.

And now when all these things, appear on the Facebook wall he had to pull the trigger to let it go and fall.

Cyber bullying can be deadly and we can’t just close our eyes wish it wasn't happening.

It’s everyone’s responsibility to teach their kids to be kind so we’re all safe online.

Once upon a time not long ago there lived a boy named prince charming that lived in a castle.

His name was James and he was 25 years old.

One day it was thundering and it was crashing with rain and at that moment the prince heard a knock at the door.

He told his maid to open the door because he was so annoyed and irritated at that  minute.

So the maid opened it and a young woman was standing there and then she said”Hi i’m a princess from a faraway land and my kingdom is having war so my parents sent me away and my uber dropped me off in the middle of town and I was walking to a friends house that moved away from my castle because she was going to collage and I left my map in the uber,So i don't know where I am and it's raining can you please help me?”

The maid replied”Okay I will just ask the queen”After a couple of seconds the queen said you can stay here for the night and I will give you a map tomorrow afternoon,Okay”So she let her in and she gave the princess some food to eat and it was very delicious…..That night the queen wanted to see if that girl was a real princess so she was tested.

The queen tested her by putting a pea under 25 layers of goose feather mattress.That night the princess went to bed and she was tossing and turning because she was very sensitive.

That morning she woke up with her hair looking like a nest and had bags under her eyes.

So she did her hair and her makeup to hide the bags and put on a beautiful dress.

That morning the prince and queen asked her”how did you sleep” and she responded”Not well I couldn't sleep and I lost 4 and a half hours of sleep.

The Queen and prince knew straight away that she was a princess and he got what he wanted so in the end they got married and had twins named Cinderella and Ben.

it so beautiful and it's the tallest tower in the whole world and also in Dubai Arabic. but even you can get some amazing photo's of it to.

How to plant a seed

Equipment:

• tarpaulin
• A Easy grow pot
• Soil
• Seeds ( rocket seeds and radish seeds )
• water

Method:

1. First you grab your easy grow pot then put the soil in. like about half way
2. Then you can put any kind of seed in the soil.
3. After that you put more soil over the top of your seed.
4. Then once you have done all those steps you can put some water on it to make it grow.

Caring:

What will you need to do to care for your seed so that it will grow?

Making sure you need sunlight and water to make your plant grow bigger and bigger. Then you have to let it grow for 75 day to 50 days and then you would get o see it growing from about 4 to 10 days.

Questions:

1. How long does it say that your plant will take to grow? My plant would take to grow 75 days to grow but you will get to see something to grow for 4 to 10 days..
2. How long do you think it will take to grow? I think it will take 2 weeks to grow but it will take 75 days longer than 2 weeks.

Two Truths and One Lie

On monday 23rd July we had an Immersion Assembly where we found out our topic is called Move ya’ body. I am writing a recount with a twist. The twist is that there will be two truths and one lie in my paragraph.

On saturday my whole family and I went to a restaurant to eat. Last week me, my sister and my parents went to tauranga to go see my nana at the cemetery.

Conclusion: Summing up your ideas Add in your personal feelings here.	When I was writing my two truths and one lie I felt a little bit happy and guilty. Why was I feeling happy and guilty because I didn’t know what to do and what I was meant to do.
