Be Responsible
Be responsible
The price of greatness is responsibility.
Being responsible is looking after or caring for your own family or someone else. Be responsible to your friends and peers. Look after each other. Are you responsible ?
Being responsible by looking after your family.
Being responsible is looking after your little siblings or doing something for you family, like be responsible by helping your mum with dinner and the dishes. Even be responsible for doing something when you are told to do it.
Being responsible by doing something.
When you are told to do something, make sure you do it straight away. Don’t let your parents or your other siblings do it. If your the one responsible to do something, do it. Having an obligation to do something.
Why it’s good to be responsible.
When you do what you have promised, people see you as a responsible and reliable person. A responsible person is one who can be trusted to act without needing strict supervision, because they are accountable for their own behavior.
Now we come to the end. What does responsible mean? Responsible is having an obligation to do something, or having control over or care for someone. What would you do if your responsible to do something.

Our bodies are exceptionally clever. Even when we’re asleep, they’re doing all sorts of extraordinary things, like mending themselves. These things don’t happen by magic.
Deep inside our cells is a chemical called DNA. DNA acts like an instruction manual, controlling how our body works. These instructions are made up of four chemical letters that we call A, G, T and C. These repeat 6 billion times. That’s enough letters to take a whopping 57 years to read out aloud.
The complete set that makes you the unique and brilliant individual you are, is called your ‘Genome Sequence’. Around 99% of our sequences are the same. It’s the 1% that makes us all different, deciding everything from our height to our hair colour.
DNA is a bit like the computer code used to give robots instructions. Sometimes a glitch in the code, like a spelling mistake, will create individual differences. Most of the time this isn’t a problem. Sometimes it can even be an advantage. But if a glitch makes the instructions confusing, the robot might not be able to do things as it should. It’s the same with our DNA. Everyone has glitches, but some of us have glitches that cause health problems, because our body isn’t getting the right instructions. For instance, having a glitch in the DNA for your muscles might make you less strong. The only way to find that glitch, is to look closely at your genome sequence.
Genome sequencing is an exciting new technology. By taking a blood sample, scientists can remove the DNA and read your sequence using a high-powered machine. The scientists will compare your sequence to thousands of other peoples’, to find the glitch. They might even compare it to your close relatives, like your Mum and Dad.
Working out exactly where your genome is different, can help doctors to diagnose the cause of your condition and decide on the best treatment. It’s still a very new technology so the more people have their genome sequences read and compared, the more we can learn about DNA and the more answers we can find in the future.

how students able to respect our environment?
How are students able to respect our environment?
The future of our environment is riding on the shoulders of today’s youth.
When students make sure that their school is clean they are helping our world be a healthy environment. When you see rubbish on the ground pick it up and put it in the right bin. Once you see lots of rubbish around have some respect, pick it up and chuck it in the bin. Also, by making sure you help each other clean up when you are at home or someplace else.
When picking up rubbish it is really good to put it in the right bin, here is what bin the right rubbish goes in. fruit waste goes in the red bin/ waste bin, hard cardboard and other hard rubbish goes in the yellow bin and lastly the soft plastic goes inside the black bin.
When seeing people who is stuck seeing which bin the rubbish goes in have some respect and go u and help them out don’t just walk past them, help them then it will be easy for other people.
Picking up rubbish anywhere not only a school.
Picking up rubbish at school is okay but how about picking up rubbish in the streets and at home it could be yuck but it is also good picking up anywhere and not only in school so that means picking up rubbish in the streets and at home.
When walking past rubbish at school people will pick it up but walking past rubbish at home or anywhere else some people won’t even pick they will just :
Picking up rubbish anywhere not only at school.
If picking rubbish is easy at school then it should be okay picking up rubbish at home or the streets.
I know that picking up rubbish is yuck but then the environment will be ugly and nasty, but still pick up the rubbish in the streets and at home.
Here you have it all four reasons why students need to respect our environment and become part of the solution. Make sure you follow these steps and keep our environment beautiful and clean.
The End.

The Marshmallow challenge
Walt: create a structured recount with correct tenses and punctuation.
Instructions
Complete the challenge with your friends and then use this template to write a recount.
Introduction
Have you ever been in a Marshmallow challenge before? Well I’m going to be telling you a story about the marshmallow challenge.
Today my classroom did the marshmallow challenge with our friends and my team won. So about that my team made the tallest marshmallow tower out of everybody in my classroom that was competing with us.
paragraph 1
The thing that we needed were 25 spaghetti sticks, 1 marshmallow, String and tape. So the first thing we did was we grab the marshmallow and put it in the middle of the table. Then my team put the spaghetti stick around the marshmallow.
paragraph 2
After that we stand it up and then it stayed still. But it wasn’t tall enough.
So we took off the marshmallow off the top and then there was a spot of gooey marshmallow so we put more spaghetti sticks in the middle of it. Then we tape the bottom and then we taped the middle spot where the gooey marshmallow is.
paragraph 3
Then after that Miss Parrant told everyone to come down to the mat. Then we talk about who won and who made the tallest tower. The people that won were my group.
Conclusion
I felt happy and scared because when I was scared I thought that my team was going to lose but we actually won. Then on the happy part I was happy because we won.
